AGS-17 Trainer

For individual training of grenade launcher operators and combat coordination of AGS-17 automatic mounted grenade launcher crews in a classroom setting.

The system is designed to teach and train AGS-17 grenade launcher operators in conditions as close as possible to modern combat. It enables practice of all key AGS-17 operating skills: preparing the launcher for firing, searching for and identifying targets, determining their range, calculating corrections and aiming angles, aiming, firing with simulated recoil, and adjusting fire during both direct and indirect fire.
The training replica matches the service weapon in weight, ergonomics, the force required to operate its aiming mechanisms, and use of the standard PAG-17 sight. Integrated sensors record aiming angles with high precision, while the software calculates the grenade's flight trajectory according to the official firing tables, accounting for spin drift, wind and weather conditions.

Key advantages

  • Realistic simulation of combat conditions with different terrain types, weather conditions and times of day

  • Mathematically precise VOG-17 grenade flight ballistics that fully match the firing tables, accounting for spin drift and meteorological conditions

  • Training in firing from indirect fire positions

  • Realistic recoil simulation enables practice in keeping the weapon on the line of aim

  • Integration with other training systems in a shared network for full tactical exercises

  • System deployment takes up to 15 minutes in any indoor space
