SPG-9 Trainer
Designed to teach and train SPG-9 mounted anti-tank grenade launcher operators in a classroom setting.
The system enables practice of the full combat operating cycle: detecting and identifying different targets, determining their range, calculating corrections, aiming with the standard PGO-9 optical sight, firing and assessing the results. It enables firing at stationary and moving targets using shaped-charge or fragmentation grenades at different locations, in different weather conditions and at different times of day. The instructor can create and edit training scenarios of varying complexity.
Key advantages
Realistic simulation of combat conditions with different terrain types, weather conditions and times of day
Mathematically precise grenade flight ballistics that fully match the firing tables, accounting for spin drift and meteorological conditions
Training in firing from indirect fire positions
Realistic recoil simulation enables practice in keeping the weapon on the line of aim
Integration with other training systems in a shared network for full tactical exercises
System deployment takes up to 15 minutes in any indoor space
